Some More Work from Work

Here is some stuff that i meant to post a while ago but never got around to. First off is the Titanic dancing. This was just a joke Yuri (yurifain.blogspot.com), Danny (dannyhynes.blogspot.com, and Ian (ian-j.blogspot.com) all were kicking around at work one day. We thought it'd be funny to see the titanic roll up to a hot New York night club and party the night away dancing to some Daft Punk. The second One is a continue for those bad ass characters i was animating for a commerical. I like this guy, his suit is awesome. Poor poor henchman tho, they never get any respect.

Isn't it Obvious?

Wow, my how the time flys. Certainly when your having as much fun as I am. A couple of cool things have happened for me. One, i finally got my Cintiq, it's really awesome, all i do is sit in my room and draw on it now, so thats always cool. Then, getting the Cintiq inspired me to start upgrading my G5, it had been a while so I did all this ish and now i'm cooking with gas. Currently i'm working on this cool project for WLE. It's like this cell phone commerical inspired by Super Friends, It's really cool and i'm getting to work with my friends on it, and best of all is all traditional animation! Word up, it is a mighty fine day. The spots are coming out really cool, Yuri and Art and Chris are all doing awesome work. It keeps us all extra busy so there is my excuse for no posting in a while. But non the less, since i'm at home, with the cintiq i figured I'd finish a sketch i did at work today, Here it is. Hope it looks cool.

Bring Da Ruckus

This was a piece of Animation I did while inbetween jobs, at World Leadrers Entertainment. It's all completely Flash with some After Effects Magic provided by Mr. Mike Foran. I had a lot of fun working on this piece and this character...I hope to do more shorts like this as well as work with this character again...it was just a lot of fun. Hope you like it.

PARAGRAPH

This is a concept drawing for the guys in Paragraph. Hopefully we'll make some headway with the designs, and maybe possibly make a video...Hmmm should be great. Don't Always Follow A Drunk Pirate Down A Pier...He Probably Has No Idea Where He's Going.

I just thought it would really funny to see how the night ends for most pirates. Like, you always see them fighting and drinking in town...yea that's all fun and good...but what happens when they have to go home? The ship is there home...they gotta go down a dark dark peir, walk all the way out on the dock, and if there lucky, they don't end up in the drink.

Exterior Concepts

These are two concepts for styles to go with for The Spanglers. I personally love the red one, but the blue one is more fitting towards the character designs already approved. I Hope you like them.

I'm Back!

Well I just checked my blogger records and it seems that the last post I put up was April 1st or something...so I figured it was about damn time I put something up. This was a concept idea that I was working on for a short I am currently in production on. I wanted to pay tribute to the UPA style, so basically I just ripped it off. It was a lot of fun tho, and it's a gorgeous style so i'm just pleased with the way it turned out. The show in the end probably wont look like this, but it should have. If there was more work out there like this I think we'd all be a lot more pleased. More to come soon.

Possible one of the more under rated characters of the film. I loved this little guy. So I decided to draw him up. But don't call your lawyer's just yet. I have no plans on pitching this as a show...not yet at least.

this was fun.

This isn't some thought provoking piece of art, I honestly just drew this really cool looking dude...then i proceeded to put a cigarette in his mouth cause it just making anything more badass. But then I thought, is it badass to smoke? I think it makes you dumb. The I got caught up in this whole debate in my head wheather I should take the cigarette out of his mouth or not. it got the point where I didn't know what I was doing anymore. So I drew a question mark. Bam!
